Case Studies
Check out these samples of events we’ve planned. Whether it’s virtual, in-person, fundraiser, or something else, we’ve got you covered.
Seed for Change Gala
Fundraiser Event
This human rights organization, with offices in Chevy Chase and Kurdistan, leveraged a yearly gala to pull down significant fundraising by way of a live auction, silent auction, paddle raise, ticket sales, and donation solicitations. Fox Lane managed all aspects of the event including donation platform recommendations & implementation, registration, catering, décor, A/V, run of show, programming, talent management, and logistics to support onsite fundraising. Of note, just prior to earning the Nobel Peace Prize, the SEED Gala hosted Nadia Murad to share her story and call to action.
YAS Conference
In-Person event
Leading up to the 2020 election, the Alliance for Youth Organizing and Alliance for Youth Action wanted to bring together top field advocates to outline key priorities and influence policy with streamlined messaging. Fox Lane jumped in to help finalize the contract with The Eaton Hotel, a location with an activist heart of its own, got the team onboard with a project plan and timeline, and got to work. We managed all registration and travel, hotel logistics, budget, and an offsite party, which was the key ingredient to cementing the bond across these diverse groups of grassroots activists. We helped AYO/AYA build the foundation to push their agenda forward which has been a current battle and battlecry of President Biden's administration.
50th Birthday Party
In-Person event
When vaccines are on the rise, there is light at the end of the pandemic, and you're turning 50, what else to do but throw a big 'ol party in your honor. Our Buffalo-born, D.C.-transplant client handed over the planning to us with very specific instructions to make it fun, don't make it fancy, and make sure it incorporates both his birthplace and adopted home. We brought in a Yacht Rock-genre band out of New York City, found the best wings and beef-on-weck in the DMV, and added touches like a photo backdrop, buffalo rubber duckie centerpieces, and a full-size cutout of the birthday boy. When he arrived, we knocked his socks off and he didn't stop dancing till the lights turned off.
Youth Transition Funders Group Fall 2020 Virtual Meeting
Virtual event
Mainspring Consulting came to Fox Lane to help produce their client's Fall meeting, with the meeting's purpose to realign on work priorities at the convergence of the pandemic and racial injustices following the summer of 2020. With record-setting attendance, Fox Lane helped Mainspring guide their client to the right technology and networking platforms. Our team ran the production controls, supported Q&A moderation, and provided customer service throughout the virtual event.
